Project History
St Andrew's is a lively busy church in Cullompton with a vision to reveal the heart of Jesus in the heart of our community'. We have a great track record for investing in children, families and young people. With an employed full time Children and Families' Pastor and a Youth and Worship Pastor.
As a church we have a large number of ministries and weekly events to support our town.
Structure & Vision
We have a large stong staff team who work closely with and support each other in our different roles. We also have a Senior Leadership Team and PCC.
We are continuously looking to grow and develop and realise the fullness of what God wants to do in this church.
Location
Cullompton is a large market town with a growing population. There is one secondary school and two primary schools. St Andrew's is situated right in the middle of town, a 15-minute drive from Exeter. Next to St Andrew's church is our Community Centre, where much of our ministry takes place. The town is set to grow significantly over the next few years. We are positioned to make the most of this opportunity to share Jesus with more people.
Current Ministry
We have a strong Children, Youth and Families ministry running monthly events, holiday sessions, Sunday morning groups (Little Blessings, C.H.A.O.S., Ignite), and school work. Our Young people meet every Friday night for Friday Night Youth and Sunday evening sessions (Youth Hub), and they take on various roles in church, often tech or production-based. We have recently started an 18-25 group called 'Expand'.
We are looking to recruit someone to work closely with Darren, our Children, Youth, and Families Pastor (full-time), and Kim, our Children's and Families Worker and Worship Coordinator (part-time), to deliver high-quality Children's, Youth, and Family Ministry work. This will help us develop our offering and expand our reach to children and young people, as well as to pre-COVID numbers and beyond.
