This is a unique gap-year we have designed for YOU. It combines youth work, training, and practical experience with challenging teaching that will prepare you to make a difference in this generation.

Rom 12, 1-2 (NIV) 
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

One year of intense, practical, and challenging youth ministry & training.

Course Overview
Throughout your year with SWYM you’ll learn the fundamentals of:
  • Evangelism
  • Discipleship
  • Understanding the bible
  • Prayer
  • The character of God
  • Youth work skills such as: leading a lesson or assembly, sharing your testimony,  … and much more!
Our aim is that this year will change your life and give you a solid foundation for being a lifetime disciple of Christ.
In your year you will not only be serving on local youth camps, youth outreach and weekends away, but there are opportunities to serve in other nations and a 1-2 week mission abroad (e.g. Africa, India or Germany)*.
Assessment
Practical and written assessment - the written assessment is usually done through journaling.
Accreditation
SWYM Certificate.
Cost
£350 for the year - all you accommodation, living & further training costs will be covered by the Ministry Partner you are placed with.
Course Dates
The course runs yearly and starts in September.
