Project History & Affiliations:
Lydia took over running the 11-16 group while she was still at school and has noe developed that work in her first year as a SWYM trainee.
She has built up the sunday morning group, established an evening club, made sound links with Tamarside, and contributes to other ongoing church children's and youth work.
Structure & Vision of the Project:
Lydia has responsibility for building up the Sunday work with teenagers in worship and discipleship and for finding ways to evangelise through Tamerside School and other activities.
She is supported by a team of helpers and a group who meet to discuss all the projects, and of course by her line manager and a mentor.
About the location of the Project:
St Budeaux Parish is inner city with nice views, working class in the main with some richer bits and some very poor bits, and Tamarside certainly has some challenging social situations.
