Job Description:
To connect with young people in Sidmouth, present the gospel informally and formally. To aim to start a youth group in the Church.
Work with a team to achieve this.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Schools work at Sidmouth College
2. Assist Children’s club lunch time at school
3. Outreach to exisiting youth clubs and other organisations where young people are
Essential Criteria:
Self started with the ability to work alone and with a team. Ability to connect and get alongside youth, people of no faith, little faith and faith.
Ability to share the gospel in relational settings
Preferred Criteria:
Ability to teach, speak in public/more formal settings; e.g. lunch time club, Sunday school, Bible studies

Church started in 1933, always been evangelical and evangelistic.
Latest history; had a part time youth worker for 3 years He left in September 2009
Church has been involved in Sidmouth College for 5 years and St Nicholas Junior School for one year. We have a few children/young people coming to Church Sunday morns/evenings.
Structure & Vision of the Project:
To connect with young people in a variety of situations. Share the gospel.
Disciple any young people in the Church and those who make professions of faith.

About the location of the Project:
In Sidmouth, small seaside town.
Church about 5 minute walk from Sidmouth College and St Nicholas Junior School. 2 minutes from Youth Centre and skate park.
About the youth work of the Project:
1. Sidmouth College/St Nicholas - good connections with the R.E. dept and other teachers
2. Good primary club
3. Rock Solid youth club for school yrs 7.8.9, 10
4. Christianity Explored type courses every other Sunday eve
