About the West Area

The West Area includes Plymouth and surrounding areas. Although it geographically covers the whole of Cornwall, SWYM have yet to have any ministry partners in this area.

Plymouth is the largest city in the South West with a population on 250,000. At least 18,000 of those are between 11-18. Plymouth is famous as the port from which the founding fathers of America left European soil.

The areas sits on the coast which is beautiful, and is close to Dartmoor, rolling hills and sheep – lots of walks and time to get away.
