About the Cornwall Area

Cornwall, beautiful, Cornwall - what can be said! Cornwall is one of the longest counties in the South West; it takes 3 hours to drive from end to end but at most points only 30 mins to get across! We are surrounded by amazing views from hill top, cliff top and beach. We have surfing, we have rural and we have not quite so rural!

Truro is our Cathedral city, it is a beautiful town sized city with the best shopping in the county. Falmouth and Penzance are also lovely sea side towns and Newquay has a certain attraction too. We have Tin Mines and Clay pits and a steam railway not to mention the Eden Project and the Minnack Theatre.

Jesus is alive in Cornwall and there are a huge range of church flavours across the county. We are very excited to have SWYM workers in Cornwall adding to our churches great inspiration and courage to step forward and share christ amongst our young people.
